When something awful happens in life, it's hard to see the gift in it.
We even stop ourselves from seeing the good because it feels weird, or we feel guilty for saying something good came out of something bad.
The opposite is true too.
We have good news and don't want to embrace it because there's a coast involved.

You know the feeling…The scan date is on the calendar and you’re already telling yourself:
What you will do
What you won’t do
What the worst thing is
How bad it’s going to be
You tell yourself stories before it happens
You try to read into any comments, winks, or smiles the technician...

When you find yourself in the place where:
-You don’t know what to do next
-You feel like you’re all alone
-You can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel
What do you do?
You borrow hope.
You turn to someone who’s been where you are.
Someone who’s made it to the other side…maybe not...

Have you ever considered what it feels like to be alive?
So often after breast cancer treatment, the biggest struggle is to feel normal again.
