Better Than Before Breast Cancer with The Breast Cancer Recovery Coach

Oct 9, 2019

When it comes to dealing with breast cancer, there are a lot of scary things to face, and to think about and metastatic disease is definitely at the top of the list.

In this episode you’ll hear from Lesley Glenn, a metastatic breast cancer survivor who, along with Marissa Garavito, co-founded “Climb for a Cure” an annual fund-raising event in Diamond Bar, California that supports researching a cure for metastatic disease.

Lesley has not only outlived the 2 to 3-year average life span for a diagnosis of metastatic disease, but 7 years after her diagnosis, she is living the life that she dreamed about, and you’ll hear how she made that happen.

Just as we survivors realize that most people don’t really get what we go through when treatment ends,  Marissa learned firsthand through Lesley’s experience that living with metastatic disease is an aspect of breast cancer that needs and deserves a lot more attention and research.

To make that happen, these two inspiring women have come together to co-found Climb for a Cure.

Now in it’s fifth year and continuing grow, Climb for a Cure is happening on October 26, 2019.

Listen in to hear how you can be a part of this awesome event, support your fellow survivors, have some fun and know that your registration fees are supporting research for this important cause.
